Frequently Asked Questions

I receive over 1,000 outreach emails each month. In an effort to reduce the volume of emails, I’ve answered common questions below.

Not right now. I’m focused 100% on personal projects. However, feel free to reach out.

It depends on my schedule at the time. Drop me an email with all the details and I’ll get back to you with my availability.

I don’t accept link requests or product insertion requests of any kind. So please do not ask. If you do, I’ll know you didn’t read this page 😉

I do not. Please don’t ask. And definitely don’t send any follow-ups – they’re super annoying.

That depends.

Most people who ask me this question don’t appear to have a clue what it means. It usually ends up being a thinly veiled link/product insertion request. The benefit to me tends to be along the lines of “making my content more complete” or “being of great benefit to your audience.”

These are not collaborations.

If, however, you have a collaboration idea that is mutually beneficial (y’no, like a collab idea should be!) – drop me a message with your idea.

I’m being a bit snarky. But I’m sure you would be too if you’d received over 10,000 of these “not-so-collaborative” outreach emails.

I’m not looking for new affiliate partnerships right now. But if you drop me a message with some details, I’ll make a note and get back to you if it becomes a possibility.

But please note that I’m not able to reply to each of these requests. I get a lot of them. Like 300 or so each month. Jeez.

I appreciate the need for them. I’m a marketer too. And I did manage an outreach team so I get it.

But on a personal level, I find them incredibly annoying. Follow-up emails waste my time. And they waste the time of my team.

So, if you don’t get a reply, don’t send a follow-up unless your email is important. And no, a guest post request or something similar is not important.
